Not all facades need to be completely redone. Sometimes it was a section of 20 bricks that froze. Other times, it's an entire facade that has 80 years of freeze-thaw in the body. Our work starts with an honest diagnosis: what needs to be replaced, what can be retained, and how much will it cost.
Damaged bricks are replaced with old, fitted stock for an invisible result. The joints are redone with a compatible mortar. And when a complete renovation is necessary, the facade is rebuilt respecting the original architectural style.

Can masonry be repaired while maintaining the heritage style of the building?
Yes. MBNL pays particular attention to respect for architectural and heritage style during any repair. We select bricks whose format, color and texture are as close as possible to the existing one, and we use mortars adapted to the original materials to avoid long-term damage.

What is the difference between a masonry repair and a simple joint?
The Joining consists only in replacing worn mortar joints between the bricks, without touching the bricks themselves. La masonry repair is a more comprehensive job: it includes replacing damaged bricks, correcting underlying structural problems, and restoring the entire facade. MBNL assesses the real condition of your masonry and recommends the most suitable solution. Sometimes a joint is enough; in other cases, only a complete renovation ensures the sustainability of the work.
